Universidad Habana.........Vedado, Cuba

On the hill from the late nineteenth century Havana termed the "Arostegui" or "Hill of Pyrotechnics", referring no doubt to the mysterious ascetic life of one person or the site where they kept guns used in the fierce war against mambises.

It was just moving from 20 May 1902 for the story that keeps the unique opening of the neocolonial republic, all the powers that made the old "Real y Pontificia Universidad de San Geronimo", later "Royal and Literary University of Havana "and in full Republic Plattist the brand new " National University. "

This center is located in the foothills of the San Lazaro Street and starts with a climb of 88 stairs to reach the main entrance.

It's part of our history and present culture to have an amalgam of forms and traces of all times, we told the story of a century already happened and that many did not know, at least the way we live today ......
