Barcelona alley

I look into the mirror of my actions, when these are part of my inner desires, consequences of past reflections, signs of deep dichotomies, struggles against, all based on the life and death, survival is not enough, when I can do more for myself.

Timing scars......Habana, Cuba

Timing scars......Habana, Cuba

I like to start the weekend surrounded by colors, after a long week facing duties.

Today someone told me, and may be you won´t agree with this view, but anyways here it goes .......... we should face problems with the dog theory .......... you look at it, smell it and if solution is not in your hands, then piss it and walk away from it ....... unfortunately we stick problems and suddenly we feel surround with invisible arms.

That's why I feel so happy when I see that many of my Flickr friends embrace life with passion and show their inner world through his shots, which are so personal and varied as people walk over this planet.

A hug to everyone and a happy weekend.

Umbilical cord Cuba..........mp3 Rolando Vazquez Expo

Umbilical cord Cuba..........mp3 Rolando Vazquez Expo

Modern societies are riddled with thousands of devices that surround our daily lives.

Imagine 1 hour without electricity, no batteries, no power at all.

Our children, the youngest don´t know a life without being surrounded by mobile phones, mp3, mp4, MP1000 ..... computers, TV, internet, today we have friends at 10 000 km away thanks to the magic of communications.

Some of us simply do not even know the people next door , we tend to spent less time outdoors and more time sitting in front of the computer.

So I try that my daughters know all that technology has brought us, but also take them to the countryside, to spend some time sitting on the edge of anywhere away from the bustle of the city..

Today we separated at birth our mothers´ umbilical cord , to stick to the umbilical cord of technology.

I shot this picture during the Expo MP3 from the Cuban artist Rolando Vazquez Hernandez

Idyllic Cuban Scenary........Santi Spiritus, Cuba

Idyllic Cuban Scenary........Santi Spiritus, Cuba

As social human beings we are involved in the cloud created by a particular way of living, guided by standards of conduct, recreation, beauty, which are subject to ideal situations that lie hidden in our subconscious, since who knows when.

In pursuit of this Idyllic moments, sometime we loose the essence and vital second that matters in our daily flight over this planet.

Night Lights........Habana Cuba

Night Lights........Habana Cuba

Havana dresses with foreign lights and new breezes are grouped in the old part of town.

You feel the movement and a bohemian tide is mixed with the native, pressing the walls of the city.

Los Zapaticos de Rosa

Hay sol bueno y mar de espumas,
Y arena fina, y Pilar
Quiere salir a estrenar
Su sombrerito de pluma.

"¡Vaya la niña divina!"
Dice el padre, y le da un beso,
"Vaya mi pájaro preso
A buscarme arena fina!".

Waldo Leyva Poem

Today we made love like ghosts: I was a man of the eighties of the nineteenth century and you are a girl of nine hundred and two. I was born in Bogotá. My name was invented by Darius a winter night, when placed on the belly of my mother lost her hand and recited the wine, in a strange language, the psalms of the future. Your name was a secret between your father and an old troubadour of the Alpujarra. When we met, I was maimed in the First World War a century and brought there, to start your body, all the salt of the Black Sea and Caucasus unfading daisy pinned to his lapel. You came from certain books impossible, the flowing gown made from the purple dye of the evenings of October, and on the forehead, a slight stain left by the wind from another age. I had died in l923, on a hill Tlalpan, at the same time your mom closed her eyes in a modest home in exile, Trevélez way.

Went by train in the morning while we were just mouth feel unstoppable, insatiable moisture. Since the last port of my country set sail a ship memory that never was, because that night sailing routes of your body, without suspecting that meet again this afternoon in May 1997 in which we made love like ghosts.

La pastora y Los desollinadores.....Habana Cuba

When i was a child TV use to pass almost every single day, a Russia cartoon made named " La Pastora y el Desollinador" ......this scene remains me the past and shows a girl receiving part of our traditional photos for the 15th birthday....Hope you enjoy it as much as i did.
