Sendero el Cubano

Sendero el Cubano by Rey Cuba
Sendero el Cubano, a photo by Rey Cuba on Flickr.

The path of Cubans are tired of countless tangents, differences and journeys, when you look at how many parts of the world we have been, how much we have done, how much we have to do, the bail, and the uprooting and suddenly you feel in a cloud that floats but you don't know for how long.

Mankind has diversified its codes that i think sometimes we forget what is essential for life.

I believe that a large part of the Cubans we live floating, waiting for a divine truth coming from heaven.

Sueños rotos

Sueños rotos by Rey Cuba
Sueños rotos, a photo by Rey Cuba on Flickr.

When children we dream about different professions, we went from one to another, thinking what´s best, at the end depends on the conditions of your life, you study or work, you prepare and waits to enjoy life after you withdraw from daily work, thinking about how many new things will be done.

And the retirement date came, so you reach certain age and see that you don't have neither the resources, the patience, some of the dreams they forgot in the way and life press you again and you only change profession, but you still working.

That would have been of this man that will sure spent his life working and now he needs to continue it.

I notice after shooting the photo that did not like it, he looks as a very nice man.

Another one than life returned to the streets in order to sustain house once more, enjoy from the couch and read the press was postponed once again.

This photo dedicated to Raul, that saving the distances of his insurmountable images, invited us to use our malecon combined with a topic that is passionate about, bikes.

His bikes are wonderful, i just wanted to show a little of them in Havana.

Malecon is a place who always surprise me with it´s live and angles, no matter how many times i work there, always is something new to see.

That should be the way live goes.

Parallel Lives....Camaguey, Cuba

There are so many human beings breathing at the same time, how much oxygen produces our planet so that we all have the opportunity to dream, grow or simply survive.

How many lives, with nuances that we are impossible to imagine, even today when technology make us be surrounded and close.

We sometimes lock ourselves up to follow an script dictated by society and soon we admire those that go in search of their dreams ...... i hope to be one of them any day soon.

A hug for all the dreamers this day

Tropical Night...Havana, Cuba

I began to read strobist and leave for a while, i want to rejoin and begin the experience, because is with the night shots i passionately interested. They don´t look at all like the really good strobist ones i´ve seen over the web.

But is my tropical Caribbean adaptation tropical of the term jajajjaja.

I have to thank to Ani for their patience and Laura by the madness of more back, above, to the side, low-power and etc. .

A big hug to all you my friends and have a happy weekend, I will be seeign you next Tuesday, because Monday is a holiday in Cuba.

Red Havana...Cuba

Red Havana...Cuba, a photo by Rey Cuba on Flickr.

Sometimes life tries to make an stop our progress for a few seconds, when we are going to in this race in search of new frontiers.

I believe that we need sometimes stop, breathe, look around, enjoy the fact that we spent another day next to those who we love.

When I came to Flickr I believed it was so fantastic started to know other people who had photography as their passion too

. Later, i caught the fever to join every group i would seem interesting or i will invite.

Today after the time continues I can see how they have been changing trends and I´m very happy to be able to count with the views of very good photographers.

I am fortunate to count among my friends, many of you with your suggestions, advise, comments in general and with their words allow me to understand part of their daily lives and their way to appreciate the world around them. .

It is fantastic what we have been making together, as some influencing others, some more advanced suggested ways to do, tutorials, guides, is a small but great family that we have succeeded in extending beyond each day.

It is my honor to have such great photographers and friends from different corners of this planet, all sharing the dream of the light ahead.

Thanks to all who have a wonderful day.

Cuban Rice

Cuban Rice by Rey Cuba
Cuban Rice, a photo by Rey Cuba on Flickr.

This rice which is sown in our fields at some point will be brought to the table of any cuban family.

Our children today grow over time, with the influence of society, family and its surroundings, at some point in time will form its own family and must bring to the table the food of each day.

How do we know that we are doing well and what we can do to make them better human beings, how far should we show you them the way, care for them in their steps or let them make their own. It is difficult let you pass through the errors that we suffer in the past, but how will learn then.

Sometimes it seems to me that mankind is advancing and delayed horseback riding toward the goals that will lead us away from the harvests of the each day ....
