Imagino cuantas veces este bote y su dueño se hicieron a la mar para buscar el sustento o simplemente dejar pasar el tiempo soñando a mar abierto.

Este día en el puerto de Casilda me sorprendió la gama de personas, profesiones que se pululaban alrededor de los botes, algunos dando mantenimiento, otros preparandose para salir al dia siguiente, me encontre campesinos, pescadores de toda la vida, doctores y hasta un arquitecto que combinan su trabajo con el arte del mar.

La luz fue nuestra mejor aliada en esta mañana y la calidez del cubano, su comunicación siempre diafana y abierta completaron un precioso momento.

Imagine how many times this boat and its owner sailed to seek a living or just pass the time dreaming of the open sea.

This day in the port of Casilda surprised me the range of people, professions that swarmed around the boats, some doing maintenance, others preparing to leave the next day, I met farmers, fishermen, doctors and even an architect combining his work with the art of the sea.

The light was our best ally in this morning and the warmth of Cubans, his clear and open communication always completed a precious moment.
